LG Prada all-touchscreen cell phone does look beautiful. Of course, it doesn’t seem to have plans to come to the U.S. (typical, and the very reason why Apple’s phone is SO important), and it will cost something like 600 Euros (approx. $780 U.S.), so it is definitely not cheap, either. I don’t think I’d be stretching much to say that this sweet phone will not be an iPhone competitor, but I for one am excited to see companies moving away from the seriously ugly, seriously user-unfriendly phones of today, that, in my opinion, look far too much like “machines,” at least as machines of the future were imagined years ago (maybe the 80s? 90s?).
Which is, of course, to say, they look ugly and cold.
It is refreshing to see companies breathe
life into their products, and create pieces of technology that, when held, kinda make you forget that what you are holding is non-human, non-organic. Something you can look at and smile.
