Ben wanted me to post about something happy, so here goes:
Yesterday, on a whim, I entered a little contest on the Freakonomics Blog, by tossing out a guess as to what television show author Stephen J. Dubner would be appearing on. I guessed Beauty and the Geek, because, well, it rhymes with Freak, and it turns out that not only was I right, but I was the first one to guess correctly! This means I get a brand new autographed copy of Freakonomics.
I am super-excited, and have wanted to read this book for awhile. Have any of you folks read it, and if so, do you have any thoughts?
